Mobile Job Cards optimize processes for maintenance and repair in aviation. The application for mobile end devices is adapted here to each individual customer requirement. It replaces paper-based processes and provides the maintenance team with more information, like tool lists, graphics, and videos. Complete job cards are generated from relevant manufacturer’s documentation (such as AMM or SB). Also important information is provided for work preparation and the maintenance technicians. Thus, staff can complete maintenance and repair tasks more securely, more easily and more quickly. This application enables an integration of existing back-end systems (like AMOS, TRAXX, and SAP). It’s an excellent basis for training employees and management reporting.
Acando also presents another mobile application to simplify the diagnosis and analysis processes significantly and uses technologies like Near Field Communication (NFC). Maintenance techs can use this to call any data (such as serial numbers, manufacturer's label) directly on the component by scanning a code with the tablet. The system then displays the required information immediately on the screen. Options include displaying components in 3D and disassembling components virtually into their individual sub-components. The application can be connected to back-end systems and supports popular 3D industry formats (like DXF geometry, Step, IGES, Wavefront, 3D Studio, STL).
Acando is a consultant in the areas of IT and management and has many years of experience in system development creating manuals for maintenance and repairs in the aviation industry. The company will present its solutions at the MRO Europe at stand 660.
