IBM was also the fastest growing UNIX vendor in 2007, growing 9 percent year-to-year and capturing 34.1 percent revenue share for Q407 according to Gartner. [2]
Gartner also reported that IBM continued to lead the category of servers priced at $250,000 or more with 58.9 percent worldwide revenue share for the fourth quarter of 2007. [3] According to the firm, the revenue for IBM's System z line of servers grew 60.3 percent between 3Q07 and 4Q07. [4]
IBM demonstrated industry leadership across the Americas, EMEA, and Asia Pacific and Japan Q407, garnering 34.3 percent, 34.6 percent, and 33.6 percent revenue share respectively in the geographies according to Gartner.[5]
