Communication Research Labs Sweden AB (CRL Sweden) is an independent Research and Development partner within leading wireless Mesh Communication and routing software development in Europe. And – the company came all the way to the final in the Metro Tech Challenge 2008, as one of the four most promising Hi-Tech companies in Sweden!
The competition was hard and we are very proud, says CEO Björn Karlsson. Even more so because our company also received a special mark of honour from the US ambassador Michael Woods. He thought very highly of our company business potential and the new communication possibilities our Mesh technology brings to several very important application areas such as enabling energy monitoring in industry and home automation through wireless sensor networking.
We have already delivered several prestige filled assignments where the customers are global participants within their markets. But this reward is of extra importance to us. The jury, which consisted of Michael Wood, the United States Ambassador of Sweden, Mikael Hult, CEO CybAero, a representative from Metro Technique and Swedish Incubators & Science Parks, is very skilled and experienced and their opinions are of great importance in the branch.
CRL Sweden have launched several products and are still brimming with new ideas waiting to be realized. Existing customers are represented within the wireless networking industry, transport industry and the military sector. Today the customers are mainly businesses and organizations in the Nordic countries, but also a number of companies spread all over the world.
To keep an absolute head position – technically and quality wise – CRL Sweden conduct their product development and applied research by cooperating closely with universities and research institutes.
