Scendix Software-Vertriebsges. mbH have announced the availability of PamFax for Linux. Linux is the third addition to the line of PamFax supported operating systems. When PamFax was initially released in 2007, only Windows was supported. 2009 support for OSX was added and now support for Linux was added as well.
PamFax is a fully secure, SSL encrypted fax solution for businesses and private users. It replaces all existing fax hardware by a fax software service. Users can download the PamFax application for free and start sending at very attractive rates. There is no obligation to sign up for a monthly plan or submit regular payments.
With this latest addition Linux users will be able to easily and quickly install and use PamFax. Linux users will enjoy the easiness of sending and receiving (with the additional Pro Plan) faxes. The PamFax for Linux application has the same look and feel as the other PamFax applications.
PamFax for Linux is available in 64 and 32bit DEB, RPM packages as well as a 32bit tarball for manual installation. It has been tested successfully using the current Ubuntu and openSUSE releases.
