On the 11th of September 2023, Brandenburg Labs had the pleasure of hosting a part of the afternoon program of the “2. Thüringer Destinationstag” of Thüringer Tourismus GmbH. The delegation embarked on a visit that took them through our startup, facilities at Fraunhofer IDMT, as well as an exploration of the autonomous bus CAMIL, a joint project of TU Ilmenau, IOV Ilmenau, and Thüringer Innovationszentrum Mobilität.
Bizerba, a pioneer in intelligent technologies in the logistics sector, is once again set to showcase its latest innovations at this year's PARCEL+POST EXPO. The trade show will take place in Amsterdam from October 24-26. Together with its long-standing partner Sinus Messtechnik GmbH, MTG actively participated as exhibitor at the ICSV29 congress exhibition of noise and vibration control technologies, organised by the International Institute of Acoustics and Vibration and the Society of Acoustic. MTG presented a wide range of acoustic measuring instruments to the international Expert audience, such as in- and outdoor measurement microphones, digital preamplifiers, acoustic calibrators or sound intensity probes.

Comfort plays a central role for belt conveyors at the airport. Lower-lying belt conveyors make life easier for passengers during bag drop, check-in, and at the baggage claim since luggage doesn’t have to be lifted as far. With its low overall height, the TB40 belt conveyor distinguishes itself from other conveyor belts. It also boasts a compact design without side contours that interfere and a powerful 24 V motor capable of handling loads of up to 440.92 lbs.

The 154th Audio Engineering Convention in Espoo/Finnland, was a major event organized by the Audio Engineering Society and bringing together professionals, researchers, educators. The Convention was an ultimate opportunity to present high-end mic solutions, e.g. the M 300 series with a ceramic capsule and optical phantom power coupling, the M 930 series, the vintage mic CMV 563 M7 S or the line array microphon system KEM 975. Things that make MTG mics very special and unique.
A new drive version with swiveling head drive is now available for the TB30 belt conveyor. The swiveling drive position can be selected at will from 0 to 270 degrees. Because the drive is above the belt conveyor, it does not come into contact with oil or cooling emulsion. As an option, the belt conveyor can also be equipped with an oil pan – with a fixed or mobile base. The new function can be configured directly in the Montech online configurator.
New at BlowerDoor since April 2023 is the calibration (1-point) according to manufacturer's specification for the BlowerDoor Standard measuring fan (model 4). One measured value is calibrated per measuring orifice. The requirement of ISO 9972 for the accuracy of the measuring systems of ± 7 % is assessed. A previous basic maintenance and functional test is included. We calibrate according to date request and ask for registration, in order to ensure short calibration times of max. 5 working days.
